CPM-720A Charge Plate Assembly

Converts PFM-711A Field Meter to a portable, battery operated charged plate monitor (CPM)

The CPM-720A Charge Plate Assembly is a miniature isolated plate attachment for the PFM-711A Field Meter. It converts the PFM-711A Field Meter into a portable, battery operated charged plate monitor (CPM). This unique design allows precision balancing of ionizing blowers and other devices to less than ±2 volts accuracy.

When used with auxiliary leads or wrist strap, the CPM-720A measures body voltage and equipment charge generation. Combining this unique assembly with the PROSTAT PCS-730 Charging Source, one can easily confirm ionizer performance, plot decay times, measure suppression, and perform a variety of other electrostatic evaluations and demonstrations.

Stainless Steel parallel plates, 3.25 inches square. Auxiliary female jack installed.

Plate Capacitance 10 picofarads (pF) ± 1 pF

0 to ± 6 KV at a plate separation of 0.60 inch.

± 2% at 1,000 volts. Calibration adjustment screw provided.

Through conductive case and snap fastener of Model PFM-711A.

CPM-760A Collapsible 6 Inch Charge Plate Monitor Assembly

Collapsible for easy, compact storage

The CPM-760A is a 20pF, 6-inch Charge Plate Monitor assembly intended for use with the PROSTAT PFM-711A Field Meter, PCS-730 Charging Source and PDT-740B Static Decay Timer. This handy accessory is designed to perform very accurate performance audits on overhead ionizers and room ionization systems. Used with extension wings, the CPM-760A is also used to evaluate and balance bench top ionizers.

The CPM-760A is completely collapsible for compact storage in the PROSTAT Professional ESD Auditing Kit Series. It may be used for evaluating voltage generation and static decay performance of personnel, footwear, flooring, chairs, carts and other equipment and materials.

SPECIFICATIONS:
Isolated Plate:
Electro-plated Aluminum plate, 6.0 inches square.

Ground Plate:
Plated aluminum sheet, 6.0 inches square.

Plate Spacing:
Approximately 0.63 inches between Isolated and Ground plates. Plate spacers made from machined virgin, white Teflon® Rod

Support:
Stored disassembled, plated aluminum sheet and steel lower stabilizing block.

Assembled with machine cap screws.
